There is a famous saying that speaks to stars and how they need to burn in order to shine. In the same line of rumination, Creed has set aside precious woods and rare spices, and set them ablaze in the creation of its new Amber Universe. The resultant is the power pairing of the new Centaurus and Delphinus scents.
Smoky leather-forward facets arise from the blend of incense-oriented ingredients like benzoin, tolu balsam, and patchouli create a foregrounding darkness that grounds each fragrance. United in their similar amber allure, the duo become divergent in the manner of their characteristic kinetic manifestations. Just like stardust, a black and pink pepper blend, orchid and heliotrope notes arise within the Delphinus to emanate a soft sensuality. It might be spry, but it still retains delicateness in delivery. Gourmand Madagascar vanilla and leather accords further this, enveloping with each spritz and gallantly nudging the plane of intensity to intrepidity.
An alternate domain can be found in the Centaurus. A rhapsody of incandescent tobacco, cinnamon and cardamon formulates an unbridled facet to the already-audacious profile of amber. Indulgence overrides inhibition as notes of jasmine patchouli, sandalwood, and ambroxan gradually overcome the lightness of floral heliotrope accords and breathe a fiery quality into the scent. And so the house’s new fragrance universe becomes one in coexistence — offering a balanced dualism of light and dark, strength and tenderness, and an insight into the extremities of amber.
