Maurice Lacroix’s Aikon Automatic Titanium is a real standout

Maurice Lacroix calls for its aspiring clientele to “stand out from the crowd”, a motto attached to its latest Aikon Automatic Titanium series. One glance at the timepieces, and it becomes apparent how easy it is to set oneself apart. The striking purple dial is the first thing that draws the eye, especially for the more substantial 44mm chronograph. It is an interesting shade not often seen in other watches, setting it up to be an Aikon trademark. The other striking option in the 44mm range is the golden dial, which is equally vibrant.

Thanks to its titanium build, the watch is lightweight and resistant to scratches. Its 200m water resistance also makes it one that can withstand the urban needs of the average city dweller. The target market for all this prowess? Gen-Z. The brand’s managing director, Stephane Waser, told Men’s Folio Malaysia that the Aikon was specifically designed for the younger generation and that much thought was put into the timepiece, sustainable packaging and manufacturing processes.
