For the first time ever, Lacoste and Roland-Garros come together to create a collection for the French tournament 2019, which happens now until June 9.
Giving the tennis court fashion a contemporary update, the entire collection is designed with a number of refreshing elements like modern stripes, deconstructed court lines, tennis ball prints and pop colour blocks.
The On Court collection is created from Novak Djokovic’s armour, which is the stretchy technical polo shirts in orange and white, decorated with shattered lines. A light-weight monochrome jacket and a pair of stretchy black shorts are also included in the collection.
As for the Off Court collection, a melange of lifestyle items are laced with a sporty vibe which can be seen in polo shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, sneakers and leather goods, presented in the brand’s signature colours of red, navy, white and green, as well as grey marl and light blue. Accompanying the Lacoste x Roland-Garros collection is a special creation, Tennis Remix made up of performance and lifestyle pieces that look to the pop culture.
