IWC Schaffhausen to host Pilot’s Watches exhibition in KL

A pioneer in aviation watches with over 80 years of experience, IWC Schaffhausen will be hosting a special watch exhibition in Kuala Lumpur for its expertly engineered Pilot’s Watches.

Set to be held in Centre Court of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Shopping Mall, between 1st to 9th July 2019, the watch exhibition will showcase the watchmaker’s most iconic masterpieces that will immerse you into its storied role in the world of aviation.

Within the exhibition, guests will be able to witness the majestic past creations by IWC including the first Big Pilot’s Watch from 1940; the famed W.W.W. for the British Army from 1945; and the Ref. 3705 Pilot’s Watch Chronograph from 1994, which is IWC’s first Pilot’s Watch and second timepiece ever to be crafted from high-tech ceramic.

Aside from the 12 historical timepieces on display, IWC is also highlighting its new Pilot’s Watches collection, which was first unveiled at the recent the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva.

The showcase will include two distinct sub-lines: the Spitfire, which captures the outstanding engineering expertise of IWC with 100% in-house movements; and the Top Gun, a sleek range
machined from robust innovative materials such as Ceratanium and sand-coloured ceramic.
