What does masculinity mean to you? With the gender-neutral movement reigning supreme – if you are still sticking by the stereotype of how men should behave themselves – we think it’s time for us to toss the social stigma of masculinity into the sea.
Leading the way to redefine the new meaning of manliness is the famous luxury menswear label, Ermenegildo Zegna. Partnering with Cesvi, a humanitarian organisation from Italy, the high-end menswear brand aims to contribute to the social and cultural development of younger generations.
Titled “From A to Zegna”, the philanthropic project will be conducted in several countries including Italy, Peru and South Africa, in partnership with Cesvi’s Houses of Smiles. Creating ad hoc educational modules, the main purpose of From A to Zegna’s establishment is to promote positive behavioural changes among youth around the world through a series of productive activities such as workshops on peer-to-peer communication, group discussions, and collaborations with local universities focusing on healthy interaction.
Additionally, in supporting Cesvi’s mission of protecting and educating vulnerable children, Ermenegildo Zegna creates a new #WHATMAKESAMAN T-shirt, which will be sold in all Zegna boutiques where proceeds will go to the humanitarian organisation.
