Japanese streetwear brand BAPE will be opening a new store in the prestigious shopping mall Suria KLCC. The boutique will span across 5,245 square feet and house a wide range of products from fashion to accessories for men, women and kids. It marks the first one in Malaysia, adding to its network of outlets in France, the UK, Russia, the US, China, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Korea and Ireland.
As one of the pioneering Japanese streetwear brands, BAPE has an international reputation for its bold and eye-catching designs, most notably the Cloud Camo, BAPE Shark hoodie and Baby Milo cartoon character. The brand has collaborated with plenty of big names in recent years including Adidas, Dr. Martens, Swatch and Undefeated. J Balvin is the latest artist to work with the brand for a collection.
