Camouflage is a design element that is commonly found in many products nowadays, from fashion and accessories to toys and toiletries. To stand out from the sea of cookie-cutter designs can be challenging. But G-Shock did it by bringing out not one but two watch models designed in camouflage.
The first of the rollout is GMW-B5000TCM-1, a digital watch that takes inspiration from its original G-Shock DW-5000C. The new model not only is an eyeful that grips attention, but it is also endowed with exceptionally light weight that ensures comfort all day long, thanks to the use of titanium.
Showcasing modern craftsmanship, the camouflage pattern on each case band is achieved through laser processing that requires onerous labour work. Further making it a collectable watch, the surface of the metal is finished with a diamond like carbon (DLC) coating that protects it against scratching.
Another piece from the release is MTG-B1000DCM-1A, an analogue timepiece that shares the same greatness. Equally stunning, the contemporary creation is easy-to-wear as the inside surface of the layer composite band is made with lightweight, highly wear-resistant resin parts. The watch with sapphire crystal is also treated with black ion plated (IP) coating for its stainless steel case and band.
The solar-powered watches with 200-metre water resistance will live up to the expectations of any city dwellers with its handy technology, which is great for both urban lifestyles and outdoors. It includes Bluetooth connectivity with the G-SHOCK Connected app, Two-Way Time Sync technology and Multi-Band 6 self-adjusting atomic timekeeping for the time accuracy; as well as phone finder feature.
The GMW-B5000TCM-1 retailing for RM6999 and the MTG-B1000DCM-1A pricing at RM5499 are now available in major G-Shock outlets at 1U, Sunway Pyramid, IOI Putrajaya, Sunway Velocity, Mid Valley, Premium JBCC and IOI Puchong.
