Fred Perry and Thames are back for their second collaborative project and this time, it also includes womenswear.
A 13-piece capsule collection, Fred Perry x Thames collection highlights a series of pieces that are inspired by tennis wear and given a fashionable twist by the founder of Thames, Blondey McCoy, which treads the line between street style and sportswear.
Inspired by the humdrum routines of British culture, the capsule collection consists of V-neck jumper; a knitted version of the tennis bomber; a striped knitted shirt in hues of burgundy, navy and pale blue; and a reworked 90’s gingham bomber jacket and shorts.
Its campaign, titled “Fifth Wheel”, accompanying the collection gives off a mysterious yet exciting vibe, where Blondey McCoy himself makes an appearance as a cameo.
The Fred Perry x Thames collection is now available in Fred Perry Pavilion KL (Malaysia) or ION Orchard (Singapore) and each purchase will also come with a complimentary Fred Perry X Thames tennis ball.
