A fervent advocate of the LGBTQ+ rights, Versace shows its ongoing support for the community by releasing a special limited-edition Pride 2020 Capsule Collection.
The collection in black colour, a motion to give a light of hope in the darkness, is lit up by the iconic rainbow colours. The collection features comfortable and summer-friendly pieces that suit almost all occasions. It includes tank tops, crop tops and one-pieces, and a line-up of vibrant underwear.
As part of its initiative, a part of the proceeds of the collection will go to charities supporting the LGBTQ+ community including Pride Live and Arcigay.
A partnership that was rolled out last year, the Italian brand will continue to fund the not-for-profit organisations for the follow-up work with its current beneficiaries (Trans LifeLine, Trans Latin@ Coalition, Brave Space Alliance, and The Ally Coalition) and maintain its donation platform.
In Europe, donations will be made to Arcigay, an Italian national civil rights organisation. The fund will be used in tackling issues like violence, discrimination and violations of human rights among the minor group through lobbying, advocacy, campaigning and supporting programs.
