Taking sea voyage up a notch, IWC Schaffhausen has joined forces with Solaris Yachts, an Aquileia-based yacht maker, and Orlebar Brown, a British resort wear brand to curate a new sea travel experience for its fans.
The collaboration was a celebration of the launch of its new Portugieser collection. Deeply rooted in the world of sailing, the first Portugieser is inspired by the deck watches, nautical precision instruments used to calculate longitude on ships. For more than 80 years, the nautical watch becomes the essential for seafaring adventurers.
Together, the brands have created a modern sailing pleasure with the roll-out of special additions including a special edition Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph Edition “Orlebar Brown” decorated with a marine-blue dial, a customised Solaris 55 sailing yacht in dark blue and white with polished chrome finishing and a nine-piece capsule collection of resort wear by Orlebar Brown.
With the indulgences, living in the lap of luxury is feasible even on the high seas.
