Following the launch of Green Light, the Fall 2020 collection, Longchamp continues to forge ahead with Green District, the house’s first-ever eco-friendly line.
“Trust is at the heart of the relationship between the customer and the brand. Our customers’ trust is our most precious asset. Today, sustainability is part of that trust-driven relationship: our customers need to be confident that we are doing everything we can to act sustainably,” shared CEO of Longchamp Jean Cassegrain.
More than ever, Longchamp stands by the community’s side by committing to sustainable production to shape a green, diverse and livable environment. Set to debut in August 2020, Longchamp Green District is introducing a unisex collection of bags made with ECONYL® – a nylon yarn regenerated from the nylon waste in the ocean, produced by Italian company Aquafil.
An integration of Ecotech and Longchamp’s exceptional know-how on fabrics, every design in the collection highlights the joining of upcycled nylon yard and carefully selected leather, exuding the house’s artisanship and codes of style.
