First forged a friendship in 2019, IWC Schaffhausen continues to cherish the companionship with football quarterback Tom Brady by releasing a new short film titled “Born of a Dream: A boy from San Mateo”.
Through the lens of Danish director Rune Milton, the short films embark on the illustrious journey of Brady that chronicles from his humble beginnings at his hometown of San Mateo, through his time at the University of Michigan to the drafting of National Football League, revealing the remarkable moments of the road to his success.
Responsible for leading the team to the victory of six Super Bowl championships, Brady’s dedication in pursuing his dream is reflected in the core values of IWC Schaffhausen － the perseverance and boldness. Resonating with the inspiring story of its founder, Florentine Ariosto Jones is also known for his ambition of crafting the finest timepieces that define what the brand is today.
On the release of the biographical short film, Tom Brady shares, “It is one of the most unique things I’ve done, and it brought up a lot of different emotions and memories. The production was incredible, and the parallel to IWC’s brand history spoke to a lot of different core beliefs that I have.”
