Besides a fashion cognoscente, Gucci is also an innovator as evident in the creation of Gucci Arcade, #24HourAce and Try-On Snapchat Lenses. Recently, Gucci continued to excite us with their brand new invention, the Gucci Sneaker Garage.
A new section under its Gucci App, the Gucci Sneaker Garage is a platform dedicated to the House’s eclectic sneakers and their digital counterparts, serving as a playground for sneakerheads to explore the creativity of the Italian brand, as well as a hotbed for new ideas and storytelling. The platform also gives to gamers access to the ultimate tool to experiment within the distinctive world of the Gucci sneakers by creating their own model, tweaking and hybridising from the existing designs or from visionary new takes on them.

Debuting together the Gucci Garage is the Gucci Virtual 25, the first virtual sneakers of the fashion house designed by creative director Alessandro Michele. An offspring of innovation and imagination, the new sneaker combines ’80s influence and contemporary aesthetics, creating a hyper-real sneaker that we didn’t expect to see. Also, within the new platform, every user gets to visit a virtual gallery put together by a group of promising artists including Helen Kirkum, Michael Cutini, Mattias Gollin, Rudy Lim, Bodega Rose, Haram With Sugar, Ghica Popa, Jemma Mason, Christopher Chan, Pix Sellers, Delphine Dénéréaz, and long-time Friend of the House Trevor Andrew.
Available to be purchased virtually, the Gucci Virtual 25 is also up for grab on Aglet, as well as Roblox and VRChat through the purchase of game patches.
