Before we can get our hands on the pieces, Kim Jones serves us the remarkably arresting Summer 2021 campaign that evokes the warmth-oozing season. Captured by Rafael Pavarotti, the beauty of African diaspora is brought to life with liveliness of summery hues like bumblebee yellow, watermelon pink and sky blue.
Keeping the spirit of the collection alive, where it advocates the diversity particularly the ethnic of African and celebrates atypical subjects related to the African art with the helping of Amoako Boafa’s works, Dior Men has enlisted models Babacar N’doye, Jeremiah Berko and Samer Rahma to showcase the pieces like sweater in intarsia blocks of colour, frock coat, “B23” Sneaker, “Dior Atlas” sandal and “Dior Explorer” boot. Paying tribute to Monsieur Dior’s Ivy prints aside, the campaign is also lent with the glorious charm of floral world in a nod to Boafa’s wallpapers.
