Gucci launches World (The Price of Love) book, which is named after the song by British post-punk band New Order.
The latest publication will feature Gucci Cruise 2019 collection and is shot by the British documentary photographer Martin Parr.
For this new print, it offers a glimpse of the models dressed in elaborated numbers, recapturing the ethos of World (The Price of Love) music video.
From the few shots display here, we can see the models are relishing themselves while being accompanied by the grandeur of InterContinental Carlton Cannes Hotel and the Carlton Beach Club.
Set against the backdrop of parasols, palm trees and seafront balconies, the eclectic tribe of models meld with the witty and unusual style of Parr, catching the zeitgeist of the ’90s.
Distributed by IDEA, the World (The Price of Love) book is priced at $60 and available now in 1,000 copies.
You can get your copy at Gucci Wooster Bookstore in New York; the Gucci Garden in Florence; Dover Street Market in London, New York, Los Angeles, Ginza Tokyo and Singapore; select IDEA stores worldwide and IDEA’s online store.
