The Cannes Film Festival is more lively than ever. This year, we saw revered film directors returning to the prestigious film festival with their meticulously-crafted productions, from Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City that is set in a fictional American desert town where a junior stargazer convention is disrupted by unexpected events to Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon that reunited two film moguls Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro to The Idol that K-pop star Jennie made her acting debut.
Of course, a Cannes Film Festival would be not what is it without the dazzling red carpet looks. BTS’s V, TikTok star Jacob Rott, Turbo Liu and more stole the show with their striking ensembles from Celine, LGN by Louis-Gabriel Nouchi and Balenciaga respectively. On the other hand, IT boys Manu Rios and Troye Sivan bucked the traditional menswear codes with designs from Saint Laurent and Valentino.
