Giddy up as Pharrell transports you to the rolling plains of Virginia with the Louis Vuitton x Timberland collaboration.
The phrase “home is where the heart is” resonates well with Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton. Since his debut, the creative director has never failed to pay homage to his beloved homeland. The agenda of paying tribute to Virginia, a fertile state bountiful with scenic highlands, romantic valleys and towns laden with wild horses, continues with the Fall Winter 2024 collection. It is also here at the new show, which took place at the Louis Vuitton Foundation located in the leafy 16th arrondissement, that bears witness to Pharrell’s new take on the cowboy aesthetics. The capsule collection is an exploration of cowboy fashion and businesswear, all translated through the love language of traditional American troops and the exceptional know-how of Louis Vuitton. Think of the reworked suits splashed in rolling plains-inspired hues and trucker jackets decorated with leather appliqué motifs.
The Western spirit was propelled to new heights with its collaboration with Timberland. Capturing the very essence of “Yeehaw”, the collaboration is a masterpiece created in Fiesso d’Artico — the maison’s Italian shoe atelier — where every detail is crafted to perfection by the in-house team. The LV 6-Inch is conceived with two designs. Available in traditional wheat and classic black, the work boot is made with premium Italian nubuck leather with an insulation system and seam-sealed waterproof construction — complemented with exquisite details like monogram-embossed tongue lining, Louis Vuitton eyelets, and leather tag adornments.

The LV 6-Inch is not the only creation that is worth one’s attention. Louis Vuitton has also introduced the LV Boot — a directional approach to the classic workwear code. The cowboy aesthetic is brought to life in five different forms. The lead-off design is an ankle boot in autumn-calling wheat and black-grained leather, kitted out with a Monogram-embossed tongue lining and leather tag adornments. The ranger boot comes in handy with an elongated shaft, lace hooks, and strap details while the pull-on mid boot exudes the rugged charm of workwear with bag puller details and brown leather ankle cuffs. Completing the Louis Vuitton x Timberland partnership is the pull-on harness boot featuring side buckles as well as a harness in camel and black nubuck leather.
The Louis Vuitton x Timberland collaboration has pre-launched on louisvuitton.com and the LV App today. The range will be available in selected stores worldwide on 8 August 2024.
