Baby, she’s Louis Vuitton’s newest rockstar.
Coming up to fame with Blackpink, the Thai singer, rapper, CEO and soon-to-be actress now has a new title under her belt — Lisa is Louis Vuitton’s newest House Ambassador. This news comes as no surprise: the rockstar has forged a name for herself in fashion throughout her career, so it is only fitting that the starlet is partnering up with one of the biggest names in fashion.
The Lisa x Louis Vuitton link-up first made headway at the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2024 women’s show in Paris last March, where the starlet was a surprise attendee. Since then, the internet has been in awe of the musician’s refreshing and audacious takes on the house’s creations, something that Louis Vuitton women’s artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière has taken to. ”I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a House Ambassador. She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey,” said Ghesquière in a statement.
This daring spirit is not one with which Blinks or Lilies are unfamiliar. After establishing her label LLOUD Co. and partnering with internationally renowned RCA Records a little over six months ago, Lisa has gone on to establish a stronger sound for herself with her first solo single in four years, “Rockstar”. And for sharp-eared Lilies, this news of Lisa’s newest ambassadorial appointment will come as little surprise: the artist had teased the partnership on chart-topper “Rockstar” with the verse “Tight dress / LV Sent it“. So, here’s looking forward to more tight dresses sent by LV, we say!
