The legendary Omega Speedmaster CK2998, “First Omega in Space,” returns to Omega’s production this year with a contemporary touch. Signature elements, such as the Alpha hands, from the 1962 NASA Sigma 7 mission-worn watch are paired with modern updates of sapphire crystal and Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 3861. Other period-correct aesthetic touches include a grey-blue colour dial fashioned from CVD coating.
