B-Rocket, Aero GT, and now, Bellytanker. Chances are, you already know that speed has always been a significant source of inspiration for Bell & Ross. It is this indomitable passion that keeps driving the brand to excel and to develop highly complex mechanisms for its watches.
The retrofuturistic Bellytanker race car, with missile-like aerodynamics, was built using a fuel tank for a fighter plane. Outfitted with an engine and four wheels, this tank was then transformed into a streamlined racer.
The metal of its bodywork is like the case of a watch; the glass covering its cockpit portrays an ultra-curved crystal, and the copper-cultured trim evokes the dials of timepieces from this bygone era.
BR V2-94
Featuring two models – namely, the BR V1-92 and BR V2-94 – the new Bell & Ross Bellytanker collection embraces the round case of the vintage car model while remaining irrefutably contemporary. Within the 38.5mm and 41mm case, respectively, the metallic copper of the dial echoes the colour of the Bellytanker’s wheel rims.

The black on the minute track recalls the car’s nose while the steel on the case, numerals, indices and hands pays tribute to the its sculpted frame. The metal skeleton hands are filled with Super-Luminova for perfect readability at night. Inside houses an automatic movement.
Both models are limited editions of 500 pieces.
