Jin, the first BTS member to return from mandatory military service, is FRED’s first Global Brand Ambassador.
Barely a month after being discharged from the military and the oldest BTS member is busy repping his crew in more than just entertainment. Jin, better known as “Worldwide Handsome”, has now been appointed the first Global Brand Ambassador of French jewellery maison FRED — taking his affinity with the calm of water and the sea to the next level.
“His radiant energy, artistic qualities, values and high standards constantly push him to excel, strongly resonating with those of our Maison and our founder Fred Samuel, with whom he shares an unwavering optimism and joie de vivre,” said Valérie Samuel, FRED’s Vice President and Artistic Director. With a penchant for outdoor adventures, romantic gestures and a good sense of humour, Jin perfectly embodies the spirit of Maison FRED.
Not one to be reserved in communications with ARMY, the superstar actually teased this new relationship in one of his latest shares on Instagram. He was recently seen sporting a special FRED Force 10 bracelet that was made in collaboration with Special Olympics — the world’s largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities — to support athletes with intellectual disabilities. And yes, he is involved with the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024 as well — the torch bearer representing South Korea in the relay across France before the summer games.

Apart from Jin, BTS’ jewellery affiliates include Jimin for Tiffany & Co., as well as V with Cartier. He joins IVE’s Wonyoung in the FRED family.
