This Valentine’s Day, The Chow Kit Kitchen & Bar, nestled in The Chow Kit – An Ormand Hotel, proffers a special menu curated exclusively for the Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a night out with your partner, being served culinary delights curated by the team of The Chow Kit Kitchen & Bar — all while immersed in the nostalgic atmosphere inspired by the historic Chow Kit district.

To make your Valentine’s Day truly unforgettable, the Chow Kit Kitchen & Bar introduces a 4-course Valentine’s Day Set Menu, perfect for all the lovebirds. The menu begins with squid & barley salad, a palate-whetting appetiser featuring squid, barley pear salad, pomegranate vinaigrette and mandarin jelly. Next is the crab meat laksa, which brings a local twist to the love-filled evening. The crab meat laksa linguine is cooked in aromatic, spice-rich coconut curry and topped with fresh crab meat.

The delectable menu continues with a choice of main courses: wagyu short rib or jumbo prawn. The wagyu short rib is served with an exceptionally tender “72-hour” short rib, paired with tender-crisp jumbo asparagus and sensory-awakening spicy togarashi. Alternatively, the jumbo prawn is accompanied with succulent prawn, fresh asparagus and fiery mala lobster bisque.

Rounding off the flavour-packed gastronomic journey is the cardamom saffron trifle. Rich yet refreshing, the cardamom saffron trifle is loaded with citrus cake, coconut cardamom custard, pistachio and cream, ending the night on a pleasant note.
