So, which one of these will be your new obsession?

Longines

If there’s one watch series that embraces vintage-inspired models through and through, it’s got to be the Longines Heritage. Introduced in 2007, the latest version of the Longines Legend Diver, a watch that’s emblematic of the winged-hourglass brand’s Heritage segment, is now available with dial in splashes of blue or brown. This new personality provides the first diving watches designed by Longines, of which the history is filled with technical feats. Although the clean lines of the original are preserved, the box-shaped sapphire glass, two screw-in crowns and a screw-down case-back – enabling the watch to reach a robust of 300 metres of water resistance – have been updated, not to mention the automatic movement with a silicon spring-balance. The dial features squares and Arabic numerals enhanced with Super-LumiNova rectangles for optimum visibility.

Roger Dubuis

Equipped with an automatic monobalancier RD630 calibre, the 45mm diameter Roger Dubuis Excalibur Huracan MB channels the same breathtaking blend of performance and power as its motoring namesake. With a honeycomb motif made famous by the Huracan supercar, the hexagonal dashboard of the Lamborghini Huracan is reflected in the design, while twin barrels and a 12° tilted balance wheel represent the signature calibre associated with Lamborghini Squadra Corse. When viewed from the back, the semi-skeletonised movement reveals the 360° oscillating mass, which reproduces the like-for-like speed effect of a Huracan wheel rim, while emulating its design too. Displaying a 60-hour power reserve, this watch is designed for those who know that every second of life must be epic.

Seiko

In the 1960s, Seiko introduced the Seiko Speedtimer with the ground-breaking Calibre 6139. It was the world’s first automatic chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch; two devices that delivered real improvements in the measurement of elapsed time in a wristwatch and are still a prerequisite in high functionality chronographs. Today, a series of six watches inspired by the Speedtimer join the Prospex collection, which include four new solar chronographs powered by Calibre V192. The case shape is faithful to the original but its 39mm diameter, the combination of hairline and smooth polishing on the bracelet and the curved sapphire glass bring it right up to date. Their dials have a sandblast finish which ensures the high level of legibility that is of upmost importance of all Prospex watches.

Luminox

The case and bezel of the Luminox 0320 ECO series are manufactured with #TIDE material and the strap made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic, whereas the case, bezel and strap of the 8900 ECO series are all made using the #TIDE material. The former is housed in a grey #TIDE case, with a wave-textured pattern on the dial, and is water resistant to 100 metres. On the other hand, the latter is available in either a grey case with a blue wave-textured dial or a blue case with a grey wave-textured dial, and is water resistant to 200 metres. They are both powered with Swiss Made precision quartz movement, and equipped with the sophisticated Luminox Light Technology to ensure visibility in any lighting conditions.

Casio G-Shock

The new G-Shock MTG-B2000XMG is irresistible for so many reasons. One of them is the multicolour carbon bezel made by laminating carbon with coloured glass fibre. The process of randomly laminating carbon and coloured glass fibres on the multicoloured bezel yields it a multi-layered pattern, making no two pieces identical. From the rainbow ion plating (IP) on the bezel inner edge to the rose gold IP of the buckle and band loop to the light blue and purple IP of the front screws, buttons and crown, the watch is also adorned with the vibrant IP to complement the shades of the bezel.
